Each round is topped off with a jacketed hollow point. The bullet doesn’t contain steel that would have attracted a magnet. Its copper-alloy jacket and dense lead core give it the durability it needs to plunge deep into the target. Its notched rim strategically weakens the jacket so it can yield effective positive expansion. Simple as that!

Magtech recorded this round’s 1,230 fps muzzle velocity with a 5” test barrel. That enables the 180 grain bullet to careen into a 50-yard target with 500 ft lbs of kinetic energy.
