This cartridge’s JHP is constructed the old-fashioned way, with a non-bonded gilding metal jacket and solid lead core. The jacket is skived on both its interior and its exterior, which weakens it enough to promote wider terminal expansion following lower-velocity impact. The bullet’s core and jacket remain mostly intact to ensure consistent penetration depth, and they lack any magnetic steel between them.

This new production ammo features reloadable virgin brass cases, each of which bears Remington UMC’s R-P headstamp. Remington’s standard label personal protection ammunition is also loaded with trustworthy Boxer primers and uniform charges of clean-burning powder. This civilian grade ammo lacks protective primer sealant, so please resist the urge to submerge it underwater for any reason.
