This 9mm cartridge by Tula features its caliber’s lightweight 115 grain projectile. The bullet is jacketed with zinc, which Tula is able to apply more uniformly to a lead core than they could bi-metal, for up to 15 percent greater shooting accuracy. The bullet’s jacket along with its rounded nose profile brings about steadier feeding in a semi-automatic weapon as well.

This round has a steel casing and Berdan primer, so it offers better affordability than readability. A thin sheet of polymer enveloping the casing does work to make it cycle more efficiently, and further protects the round against corrosion. Tula has been around for a long time -- they were ordered to open in the city from which they take their name in 1880 by Emperor Alexander II. Their long-standing tradition of production coupled with their ongoing commitment to research meshes to enable them to make a cost-effective yet nonetheless hard-working cartridge.
