The average response time to a 911 call is 10 minutes. You don’t have to know how to schedule a home invasion to know that’s all the time a bad guy needs to destroy your life. If you would take your safety into your own hands, then you’ll do well to have two things: a 9mm handgun, and plenty of ammunition to train with.

Blazer Brass Training ammunition is designed to provide similar performance to self-defense loads. These rounds’ 115 grain FMJ projectiles are not going to expand inside soft tissue like you would want for personal protection, but their simple design makes high-volume shooting far more affordable.

Blazer’s FMJs do not contain steel. If your local gun range has banned magnetic bullets, this is exactly the kind of ball ammo you want to take there.

Although Blazer is well-known for loading aluminum cases, these rounds are outfitted with brass ones which expand during ignition to seal more propellant residue out of the chamber, and then contract to become reloadable. These nonmagnetic rounds have noncorrosive Boxer primers that any 9mm handgun or carbine should spark up without fail.
